hmz...i got my attachment results liaoz...gd news or bad news??hmz..well...gd news 1st...its citibank...my 3rd choice..so i quite lucky lahz..got wat i want...banking industry as HR...hmz...quite a chance for me ya... bad newS...well...tt job needs graphics background..i dunno wat the hell it was so i just applied to c my luck...n i got it..hmz...haha...n den...i'll have to miss sports camp!!!damn!!!!Attachment Period 09-MAY-2005 to 16-JUL-2005 ( 10 weeks ) !!!!!miss camp!!!!ughh!!!so sad lor!!!ughh...haiz...n i'll be working on my bday i think....sucks....haiz..haha...it'll be a wed..mambo?lolx....n nxt day gotta work...wat is this manz!!!sucks!!!!! well well..alot of ppl said tt i've been getting my pirorties wrong...hmz...well...its not just abt fun n fun n fun for myself when i talk abt sports camp its actually a commitment and a responsibility...being a programmer, we dun usually go out n havoc n cheong til wee hours etc...we actually study together, and be part of the whole big family...and also from there, we form friends..just as u'd form friends with ur classmates etc...being a programmer, i also took up added responsibility..and that is to plan the coming sports camp to a higher and better level and that is a challenge already.alot of ppl have the misconception that wah sports camp..must be havoc rite...but den again...we programmers where got havoc...i also dunno manz...wrong impression lehz...i jio them cheong n response is so bad one..haha..jio to study...whoa..gd response lehz..haha... actually like i said, its like forming friends within a common goal. u form friends if u can get along with them and with common interests etc...being a programmer, we get to know each other better and we go out not as an obligation but as friends (i hope)...you also have to have retreats or outings whereby attandance is rather "complusary" coz we have to build up our bonding as a whole..not those usual ppl but as a whole family of programmers..y?coz we'll be working together to preppare and plan for the upcoming camp and to be able to plan and work well, you need to have a good team whereby the cohesiveness is strong. and the reason y im so sad over missing sports camp is that i wun be able to fulfil my responsibility to the max. i can only be part of the planning and not the execution. overall the camp will have one less person to help out. not that without me the camp cant go on la but den just tt its quite sad...like u eat a satisfying meal den miss out on desserts like tt...not finished...and also not to mention that those 7 days of camp will definately bring us friends programmers more closer..this is where friendships develops stronger i guess...u'll know ppl more..know urself more... so when ppl say that i must set my piorities right, i dunno how to tell them. true i come over ntu to study...but den again i also learn alot from these activities. really agree with them that studies are more important coz tts y im in ntu in the 1st place..but den when ppl think tt im nelgecting my studies coz im in programmer and programmer always go n havoc and have fun just coz we are part of sports clubetc den i beg to differ le.. oh well..hope that ppl understand these ba...not alot of ppl understand fully and hence the misconceptions...well...being a freshie and a programmer is so entirely..freshie u go n enjoy and tts the havoc day..now, old liaoz..old bird liaoz...all is a learning process le... *disclaimer: this email is not meant to 'shoot' anyone in particular lar..just wan to let u guys know more abt me and wat i meant when i say im a programmer...hee..* steph @ 3/18/2005 09:14:00 PM
