watched 4-bitten-city on sat.... yesterday started off on fri nite, where i went back to school to jog with edwin...the slopes...haha...must train more le...din run too long, a warm up..a kick-off...so sat mrn i went to a workshop with my students...quite a gd workshop, but abit too draggy i think for the students' concentration span..anyway, i had lunch with the boys, quite a funny bunch of boys...and when i had to leave, i gthered them...just like i was going to do a debrief in kids camp like tt..haha..and a debrief i did...right infront of the arcarde...so funny... anyway aft that, its time to go home and start/finish a special project...a belated present...=p... so...went to meet edwin for dinner first...went outback for dinner...super full!! but super nice! hahaha i like it there... after dinner we headed to esplanade!!! my 1st play/musical at the durians!! whoa...very very nice!!! i finally got to see the inside of the durian!! our seat was very good! infact, i think we got the best view! hahaha...nice nice!!! i like the set..the way they changed scenes....i love the songs, how they sang and used music to express themselves...kit chan was really good! her vocals...power...hossen leong and the other...were very funny... the rest of the crew also sang well...the small emperor...so cute...oh forgot to mention the emsemble...the conductor was almost dancing to the music, swaying and conducting with such vigor and expression...really made me miss my band days in sec days and going for band concerts...=p ....overall...a very gd musical! special effects..haha... =) steph @ 9/24/2006 04:15:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2006 well...almost 2 weeks have passed...im happily teaching the rascals, sometimes even to the point of stressing myself...fear of a burnout at such an early stage prevented me from giving myself more stress...so i take it out on desserts... ok rubbishing... the point is...i've not been exercising!!! yar although i teach PE, able to wear sports attire to school, i've not been exercising!! simply not much time for me to exercise!! well...it'll all change! i'll go jogging later tonite! yeah! yupz...im still 'required' at the dental clinic though thankfully it's fridays...hopefully they can faster train the new nurse so that i wun have to work there. its really tiring working as a teacher...now i know..but the students make up for it...rewarding! hehe... well...ntn much going on the past few weeks...except that...there was this mega project for tomy...mega indeed..haha...but its a great time rushing out the prez...alot of effort but fun in doing it!  also...there was this special day not too long ago...enjoyed ourselves...chip n dale also found themselves a good owner - yours truely...=) everything is going to be okay! just that it all takes time! to adjust and adapt! thanks to him who is with me always, and Him who always will be with me! steph @ 9/22/2006 03:44:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2006 well...looks like its really into another chapter of life for me! started my contract teaching @ SMB secc yesterday...the day went well infact, with minor hiccups (if not none..) and also i think i hit it off well with the kids. praying for mutual understanding..hehe...anyway...gd news! i have PE lessons as well! so it means i can wear my PE attire to sch instead of wearing those smart casual wear! yeah!!! the down part is that i have to stay in the staff room instead of the pe dept coz the head said that she needs me ard her...which is true, considering that i have more english lessons that PE...oh well...cant have it all... anyway, after school, i hanged ard the staffroom until it's time to meet edwin for dinner. so i headed to cozway pt...already can feel a migraine coming up...and true enough, i had a migraine...but thought it would go off, so i hanged on...watched singapore dreaming...till i almost dreamt...no lar kidding...was uncomfortable thruout the show, but i still keep track of what's going on the show. its a slow pace show, but nevertheless, it reflects on some issues the society is facing now. well...life's never a breeze. so after the show, we headed back. thank god for edwin who sent me back as well...coz was really feeling very sick. its so bad that i felt that i cant even sleep...anyway thank god today was gd...a bad start though, but nevertheless, it all went well and the students were attentive as well! yeah! supposed to go out with the pe dept for lunch and what they termed as 'initiation' but in the end it was postponed...yeah..so i can come back earlier as well! havent been home for the evening for a long time it seems...anyway, gonna be busy preparing for lessons next week, and marking of the hwk, etc etc...whoa... how big is ur classroom? meaningful indeed! =) steph @ 9/14/2006 05:31:00 PM Friday, September 08, 2006 for those who don't know, im posted to semb@wang sec school...will be covering mainly english classes, because their english HOD is away...or rather...she has been away for a long time already...anyway, i'm still unsure if i'll be taking some Pe classes, as they have yet confirmed with me...so sianz...i had expressed my interest in taking pe as well though...(fyi, i was 'deployed mainly to teach PE and English'...) =( anyway, i went to the school yesterday...it's just below jon's house...the environment is good..didnt really see the students in action as it is the school holidays. but its rather stressing already for me, as end of year is just around the corner and the teacher told me that the student's standard is really not there. oh well... well, 1st impression is very important. now i have to think of how to make an impact...on them...not to let them climb over my head, but still be able to manage them. considering that the 1st wk that im there i have to give them a test already..hm..haha..shall see how it goes manz....stressed!!!! ____________________________________________ anyway i've just been thru a le@dership c@mp at eee-see-pee..one of my best camp ever!!! its really motivating and encouraging...its also the 1st camp i've dropped tears during campfire too...haha... x-men! the insts n 1-man show man! ____________________________________________________________ steph @ 9/08/2006 12:50:00 PM Sunday, September 03, 2006 the annual sports ball was here...yesterday...last nite...at interc0ntinental hotel... and so after checking in, (programmers are always programmers...do things faster than others! hehe...checked in and out faster than the rest! ) anyway after checking in, we nua-ed till the others came... the AP... and thus the frenzy begins...dressing up, making up, taking photos! needless to say, while the guys are in their rooms (making up too?) and also mixing drinks...deadly drinks.... ham and me! wave gals! wave riders!!!! and so...after photowhoring in the rooms, we adjourned to the ballroom, where the real photo taking started! we can really take photos anywhere, anytime...as usual, we take no heed to the MC, albert this time... and continued on our yam-senging and also photo taking...even when the GOH is speaking...hahaha...wats new.... su12 x-terrain ics! cal! guess who's behind the mask?! event ic jo! hope ur ankle is better ya! zaion subhead! zaions! and so...it was peaceful for the 1st few dishes....we got to eat the cold dish, soup, prawnballs, vegetables...and come the fish....well...fish is the part where we all went around toasting and drinking...some die-ed at the fish, while some managed to ate fried rice and the duck...heard that the dessert was some...warm thingy...not nice one..haha..so didnt miss out anything much... how can i miss out the ex sports king!! =p cannot be jealous okie... sb buddy no more! hahaa.. father figure youyi the ever cool emery for the record, i think i die-ed after fish...i saw the fish, took a bite...and den got high already...i saw the fried rice, but didnt eat it...anyway...saw ppl getting high...saw ppl in the toilet trying to puke...saw ppl puking in the toilet also...saw ppl also hiding in the toilet, apparently siaming the drinking session!!! didnt see edmund crawling around though...haha... the 3 dearest friends who came down! best of friends! haha anyway...for some reason, i dunno y i refused to go up to the room and sleep...so in the end, edwin had to take me around...taking care of me...although i can hardly stand straight, but i think i can still think clearly...until today, i was told that i was saying alot of things...as usual...asking if the others were okay, asking if my mascara ran, if im still pretty..haha...(this i remember..) and also some other stuff...cant really remembered what i was blabbering about...but...well..haha..u know what i really meant can le lar...=p me n him! aWwww...hahaha... and so, this refusal to go up to our rooms to sleep landed me at the ballroom once again, where adrian got the music ppl to take photos...and in the end, when all are gathered, he disappeared...haha...and after the 'survivor' shot, we made our way upstairs... the music ppl! sux: where it all started! part of the survivour party by then, i already have a killer headache...so didnt join them for supper...slept...or rather tried to...coz the headache made sleep rather impossible...=( but thanks to him who took care of me again...=) sorry that u didnt get much sleep coz of me! steph @ 9/03/2006 07:48:00 PM
