well..had been having a series of FUN and FUN time! playing mahjong overnights, KTV sessions, mahjongs again, going back to my alma matter, sentosa trip, interviews (not alot lar though..) and also GENTING trip as well as JJ's concert (in genting!)!!! yupz! i'll be leaving for Genting later!!! yeah!!! rather last minute, only 4 of us going. it's gonna be my 1st concert also! yeah! looking forward to it! anywayz, some photos! on tuesday, i did something very daring...in broad daylight somemore...somethng i wouldnt have done...if the gate is not locked...(duh!!!) i climbed the gate...of my primary school, Pei Tong Pri School this is where i used to do my ermz...'detentions' or penmanship writings during recess...hahaha...too bad the main building was locked...anywayz, this sch is going to be renovated, tearing it down to build a newer building. as such, it was locked and we had to scale the gate to get in. hop hop hop scotch! life at ptps... we must keep fit!! stand straight! when punished... when have to line up and hold hands.. reaching for the stars!!! cant smoke in my pri sch leh!! very funny, this shot was taken by the security guard...he was quite stunned (and abit angry) as to how come suddenly behind a bangala, we suddenly appeared..hahaha...den we asked him to open the front gate for us to go out..and i just had to ask him to take a photo for us..hahaha..his reply was...'no time lar...' but he still help us take...=p afterwards, we walked back to our old neighbourhood...whoa..memories sia... this is a view taken frm my old blk...nice rite...can see sunset way, the bridge and canal...whoa...its like..how many years since i've went back le..ever since i moved in pri 6 i think..thats like...10 years?whoa!! haha my old house...the appt number is still the same!!! if you're sick, go to this! the tiles, everything is still the same!!! my 'family' doctor!! wanted...reward will be given...crime: transpassing... ______________________________________________________________________________- some photos of the sentosa trip...followed by sakae buffet!!! the 4 of us who went sentosa after a night of mahjong... and the food!!! ______________________________________________________________________________ yeah! yupz! so...i'll be going genting..leaving later tonite!! yeah! coming back on sunday! til then! steph @ 6/30/2006 10:11:00 AM Saturday, June 24, 2006 well, disappointment sets in as the team of 4 realized that they were not in the marathon due to the turn up of all 10 other teams. so this team received a consolation or rather a token of appreciation of free movie vouchers (2 each) instead for participating. as a result, instead of tired but endless 54 hours of staying awake marathon, the team were left with nothing to do for the weekend. not withstanding the defeat, the team decided to catch a movie (using the free vouchers!) they watched Just my Luck. rather adapt, considering how unlucky they were. this was followed by the team (3 now, having 1 other team member gone back home) to another friend's house for a mahjong session. so the whole afternoon and part of the evening was spent mah-jong-ing. not a bad way to spend the afternoon afterall! thinking about how the other contestants were doing, and also predicting how we could have been doing, there's disappointment indeed. dinner was sumptous, seafood at a nearby hawker. Afterwhich, 2 of the members, went for nite cycling recce. the meeting place was at East Coast park, and they met up with the rest of the committee there. was met with rain during the recce, but nevertheless the committee braved the rain (nah..they stayed at a shelter and talked instead) and also braved the puddles of water and drizzle and finally reached the end point, NTU. after some debriefing, it was time to leave. by then it was already 4am. considering the time, a few of the committee people just hanged out at 1 guy's house talking rubbish and also trying vailently not to all asleep. it was also during this period that i wondered what it would have been like if the team got into the marathon. anyway, dawn arrives and the company went for breakfast buffet at delifrance. it was indeed a tired and hungry bunch as they ate the pastries and bread. some even dozed off! so the plan was to go back home to sleep. but...some joker suggested going KTV. and the other joker agreed to go...and the other joker also had no objections, so off the 3 jokers went to KBOX! sang but they were tired. so after the session, they each went their ways. for me, i went home and after awhile, concussed. till now. so that's how the friday and saturday went. how about tomorrow? how about next week? only superman can save you! _________________________________________________________________ some photos from my subgroup dinner! steph @ 6/24/2006 09:03:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2006 some random photos ...frm ktv sessions and sakae sessions! me after an interview and going party world with the programmers...haha...we sang at the hall!!! shiok! attendance time! now you see her... now you don't! look who's behind! can spot me? and finally..the disappointment... so unlucky... steph @ 6/22/2006 01:45:00 AM Monday, June 19, 2006 i used to think that it doesnt bothers me. i used to think that somehow things will work themselves out. i hate to think that im idling away while others are at work earning their keep. i always hope that somehow a miracle will happen. i don't feel like talking about this, but why is it that everyone's asking me the same questions? i used to think that it'll all fall into pieces as time passes, but im now having doubts. but somehow, i feel that im enjoying myself while in the midst of this, and also that i should take my time. it's always me, myself, and I. Where are YOU? steph @ 6/19/2006 02:26:00 PM Sunday, June 18, 2006 X-tr recce was pretty much of a walk-thru, or rather a cycle and trek-thru. was pretty excited over cycling once again at bt hill. whoa..realized that i am really unfit. plus the rain which made the tracks all muddy and slippery, its really a great wonder that only 1 of us skidded but no injuries were suffered. the trekking was long...very long...i like cycling leg more. missed those days where we used to go cycling there for our last year's event. also missed talking with some of the programmers...hehee..catching up on each other's life etc... TP recce was also okay ba...went thru old changi hospital in the day and at night. it wasnt scary now, maybe due to the fact that we went there upteen times last year...still about the same, station location pretty much same place. nothing much to fear also not scary one..haha... then comes nite cycling recce, but on lorries and cars and van and scrambler bike! haha...more of a 'know-where-you-are situated' route recce ba...we had fun talking rubbish on the lorry, taking photos, gossippings and stirring shit...also i had fun riding on cal's bike! shiok manz!!! was scary initially, when i realise i cant hold him coz he said not to hold his shoulders as it'll restirct his movement, and den he's tickish, so i also dun wan to hold on his waist...so that leaves me to the handles by the back-SIDE!scary can! hahaha ok lar...trust him coz he drove for many years also already and no accident record. anyway, whoa..shiok feeling, especially when he drove at a very fast speed on the road! (a short while only luckily..)hahaha...shiok shiok...but eyes very dry... recces ended at 4plus am..after supper at boon lay market...well...so i decided not to go for church coz i know i sure cant make it...so slept til almost 1pm on a beautiful sunday morning...din really sleep well too though..oh well.. _________________________________________________________________________- have been thinking randomly about some issues... the issue of waiting...i hate to wait sometimes. sometimes, its also good to wait, especially so if you knwo that ultimately it'll give you some benefits. when ordering a Macdonalds meal, if the 60s game is played. it'll be good to wait..and hope that the service crew will take more than 60s to get your food. coz you'll get a free ice-cream cone redemption. however, if you are hungry..will that few seconds matter to you? would you say 'forget abt the icecream cone. just get me the food in less than 60seconds!!!!' anyway...i also dunno how this fits in. sometimes i just dunno what to do with my life....for my life... _________________________________________________________________ another piece of news. i hope..haha..it'll sure be a challenge...54 hours of non-sleep doing challenges...i nid the rest this wk manz!!! will be expecting another overseas trip to JB nxt nxt wk..seafood trip to kukup...a relax trip! stay tuned! yeah! steph @ 6/18/2006 04:07:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2006 went shopping finally today....but din buy much...in fact, i only got a purple cardigan and also a pair of black earrings...but very happy with the cardigan though! really like it ALOT!! have been eyeing it since dunno when already..=) oh yar...its the great singapore sale! so...to those who want to get my birthday present, you all can do so earlier! take advantage of the sales! hahaha...bhb...scally no presents...dun care..if u are reading this, then thanks for the present! =p my wish list is up! hahaha but of coz, some items i dun expect to receive as a present, but rather, those are what i aim to get...by hook or crook! nah..not that bad..but either by santa, or by own paycheck...but..nope...still no news of any job offers...still waiting... oh well! shall look forward to this wkend! tml going to play captain's ball with my church girls...den work @ clinic...den..sat have a recce! make it 3 recces! so looking forward to it, though i know it means im gonna be so tired on sunday sia... yupz~ thats all for the short update! steph @ 6/15/2006 11:49:00 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2006 well...in case u guys dunno, im back frm church camp like..since 060606?haha... it was a real good camp...got to know the church ppl more, know new friends, also realized more about life. anyway, after the camp, my plan was to go all out to job search. well, considering that a few weeks had passed, i cant say that i had actually intensively searched for jobs. anyway, went for 1 interview the very nxt day i came back frm church camp! but did badly there..haiz..oh well..den the nxt day i went for moe teaching interview... still unsure if teaching is what i wannt though...shall see how it goes... so pretty much, my life is revolving around working part time at the dental clinic, going out sometimes with the usual bunch of programmers...and also doing odd jobs..haha..was a stewardress at the recent badminiton tournment..so funny..but tiring coz my legs are aching from climbing the stairs!!! ughh..haha... well..looking forward to this week...esp to next week though...this week is a relax week for me... thinking of going shopping on thurs though...hehe...haven been shopping le manz!! well..yupz..thta's all for this brief update...nothing much also..hope that by next post, i'll be announcing that i have a job...hope lar... steph @ 6/13/2006 01:03:00 PM Thursday, June 01, 2006 did another camp which is westgr0ve pri 5 kids... well...this camp isnt really very gd..shall not dwell on it too much...being a guild leader made me realise once again that i really sucks in multi-tasking...just ask my mirror grp partner lewis...haha..he'll sure agree with both hands and legs! thank god that i have lewis as my mirror grp instructor sia...even though he's new to this, but i can see that he can make it one...heng ar..haha...1st day of camp i was down liao. without breakfast and have to fact the sun, i almost fainted before lunch time...too dizzy till i have to squat down and force the stars to go away sia! even aft lunch i still have headache...so was really glad that i didnt have to belay much...reached the limits...merlioned not once, but 3 times (i htink or maybe 4)...even though there's nothing much to merlion...even plain water also i managed to merlion out sia..tts how bad...but not bad..haha..my guild instructors all very gd and helpful one..not blur blur kind...not bad! yeah!! hehe...tks manz!!! it was overall a super shag camp...shiong sia...but the supper the 2nd nite was a relieve also...finally good food! then comes the 3rd day finally! despite all those kok ups, it was finally the prize giving ceremony! last thing before break camp...i was surprised when they said they wanna give the best grp to mine...maybe its coz my expectations are high..but watever lar..haha..they deserve it also! =) aft camp, we headed for dinner at subway!ate a foot long sandwich!manz..haha..satisfying!!..the phone call i was expecting came! thank god..i tot it was another lost cause..but juz when i was abt to give up, the call came! so far still so gd...have to wait and see how it goes on.... caught x3...was a nice show in the sense that i actyally know what's gg on lar...watched with tomy n lewis...the others wanna go back n KO-ed..haha..i also almost KO-ed but at least i din sleep unlike someone...dun wan to mention names lar hor..haha...but the characters like all died lehz...cyclops..haiz...so fast somemore..sianz... hmz...got a disappointment when i got home..but nvm...not really THAT disappointed anyway...shall wait and see den...work later...so sianz...and tml's church camp already...so fast!!! ughh....shall take it as a time to relax and think ba...=) some photos...
