celebrated ilona's 27th bday today...went k-lunch...missed church, partly coz i find it very troublesome also to travel to n fro with a bandaged leg...also postponed tuition same reason...-.- watched the prestige...a very nice show!! its about 2 magicians...haha...one of the nicest show ever! suspense....cool... are you watching closely? anyway, some pictures... me with my new oaks! cool har! my bandaged leg... hm..so is tomy's leg also bandaged? hm..realized that most of the pics are not with me...shall post them up when i have those then... i want to start reading...any recomendations? steph @ 10/29/2006 10:30:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2006 ughh....leg is bandaged up till monday morning then able to take it off... went to the chinese physician at clementi after much deliberation and consideration...well, didnt regret going, only regret not going earlier say last wk...haha...despite the PAIN... apparently the ligament or something went out of place..so he twisted it back...well, i can say the pain is really immense...very pain very pain!!! when he twisted the ankle, i was like clutching edwin's arms tightly...whoa...pain doesnt even accurately describe the feeling lor...excruciating...ughhh... anyway, after a few minutes it's over...as in the physician declared the ligament to be in place...so he prescirbed me some medication (which i bet taste like the medical oilment which he rubbed on my ankle...well at least it smells like that lar...) and he bandaged the ankle...and told me to avoid cold,spicy and sour food,and chicken... so, my leg is bandaged up, still abit of those cooling effect from the oilment. think it'll be better soon...haha...was actually wanting the tui-ing to be longer, not just few minutes though...saddist...just like him...yes you! anyway, pain is good. it makes you know that you are alive... im alive...are you? steph @ 10/28/2006 06:47:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2006 yeah! today is my off-in-lieu!! so no school for the students (well, they're on holiday anyway...) also no sch for the teachers! so happy to be able to sleep late and also wake up late! miss those days of sleeping in late... anyway, for the next few weeks, we'll be required to go to school still, but reporting time will be 8-12 instead! yeah! so happy! Also, i've promised my students that i'll 'create' a blog ...shall do a new blog specially for them. so shall spend today doing ba..hopefully...=p my ankle is still swollen...was thinking whether to see a sinseh today. Mom rubbed oilment on it last night...and i was like crying out in agony...so painful was it that even the slightest rub would result in me screcching ...ok..not screeching but ouching... anyway, also was disgusted by something yesterday...phew i told ya i had a long day yesterday...anyway...came upon this... Roper patience? love for others? time? especially for this?? hm... steph @ 10/27/2006 11:00:00 AM Tuesday, October 24, 2006 selemat hari raya! ermz..to those who celebrate it anyway...or rather, to those who enjoyed this holiday... anyway, i enjoyed myself these few days...was on MC on monday, so technically i was on a really long break! celebrated edmund's bday on sunday...went KTV first after church...had a great time singing! then we went to happy pay aka tian tian steamboat...whoa..it's really quite gd i must say...even it's aircon, but it's not stuffy or hot or smelly... hm...had quite a full meal...steamboat mar...it's definitely a good place to go! haha so we brought out the cake, blew the candle (or at least that ego-mund did) and presented him the present tomy designed for him...really nice...and home sweet home after that...rather late....decided to go on MC on mon! haha... so monday i went to polyclinic with mom, who was also going to see doc...there was a long queue...figures..considering that with MC on monday means a long weekend...anyway after a long arduous wait, it's our turn...doctor was a newbie...kangtang...when he spoke mandarin to mom, i was suppressing my laughter...cute...anyway, i just asked for an MC..no medication or anything for me pls... headed to tuition and home after that...went to meet edwin aft his work, and movie marathon follows... my ankle is better already...able to walk, but it'll still ache sometimes...there're bruises around the ankle...angry bruises...have to continue to rub the oilment on it though... tml and thurs lessons...fri is my off in lieu! yeah! steph @ 10/24/2006 09:42:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2006 well...think my ankle is better! i'm able to walk almost properly today! yeah! so does that mean i wun be able to take MC on monday? =p...haha...swell's gone down significantly too! although its still abit swollen...but...think i'll be okay! yeah! thank God! anyway, a couple of things which i havent mention...i've bought an oakleys! haha..been like..3? years since i wanted to get an oakleys! haha..so with the 1st pay..i bought a half jacket! hehe...photos later...haven take... another thing is...I'll be going Hokkaido with edwin in dec! yeah! although there were some serious kok ups in the planning, but i'm glad it all worked out...sorry to those who were negatively affected ya....=p... so it means that...my pay is like..practically used up...probably in advance as well...oh well...my ankle is better! yeah! hahaha steph @ 10/21/2006 09:26:00 PM
well..yesterday was my PPT... on thurs nite, it was probably the worse night...well...the latter part to be exact...was training for my ppt the next day with edwin...he's very nice, came over to help me despite his tiredness from work...so we worked on my cartwheel, my weakest station...was rather disappointed and morale was super duper low... anyway, on friday, i was pretty jittery as well..think the other contract teachers and pe teacher C also realised it. anyway thanks for all the wishes! hehe...and have to thank C for the last minute lesson on the arabrase or watever its spelt.. so off i went for the ppt..i was early though...went to find jamie...as it turns out, he's in charge of our grp! as in he was leading my grp ard the stations...so nice to see a familiar face...also made some friends there...was a fun grp i think..or maybe it's coz i was too hyper..haha...loud and cheery... atmosphere was good, i didnt feel any stress...1st was swimming, my best i think! yeah...den aft swimming, it was the agility run...we did a trial, followed by the real run. ughhh i had a real slow start..."ready..go"...think i even nodded when the instructor said ready...stupid..slow lar...haiz..hahaha... anyway, the fateful event...gym, was next...well, i wasnt really very stressed or anything, coz as C had said, cartwheel is just one out of the many components...(and the people ahead of me were not really gd as well...so another booster to my morale) ...anyway, after front roll, back roll, arabrasque, i did the cartwheel...and..i didnt do it well or smt...didnt land properly...and sprained my ankle...think another reason was becuse they dint allow us to wear shoes...so weak ankle bad landing...bad sprain... thank God for jamie, who sprayed something for me, and produced an ankle guard frm his friend...it wasnt that bad initially, and i went for the next station, badminton...whoa..the player i was playing with (nie student) like never give face lor...hit very hard, till i have to go all the way back to the out line already...and he'll give a light shot after that, so i have to lunge forward...ughh...well, it didnt do my ankle any good also lor...pain... and last station...ball possession..we had to wait awhile for our turn, and my ankle was hurting already from the slight rest we had...played badly...wasted, coz that was another station i can score as well...anyway, was rather distracted too...ughh... but it's all over! hehe..thanks edwin, not my bf, but another edwin, who walked me back to wee nam...so met up with them for dinner...@ fishie n co...gd dinner! but my ankle is cui-ded liaoz...after dinner, we departed..i almost cant make it to the taxi stand, as i can feel the blood rushing down to my ankle and the swell was hugh...ughh...took a cab to ediwn's...struggling and walking at a slow pace...don't like it... decided that i really can't make it for the photo shot this morning...called my sisters to explain...haiz..feel so bad lor...but i am thankful that they are so understanding...luckily i made that decision, coz judging by today, i really cant make it for the shot...sorry sisters!! nxt sat ya..!!! anyway, this morning, my ankle was also hurting badly, but after some time, it's not that bad already...guess the 1st step outta bed is always the worse...as all the blood rushed down after a night's elevation...but thank God its better already...i can walk, at a faster pace, though still slow...hm...but still cant rotate my ankle, and its still swollen!!! gosh... thinking of getting an MC for monday...so...means when do i have to go n see doctor?hm...have to see a 'xi yi'...'zhong yi' MC not valid..haha...but still thinking if i shud go and see a chinese sensei or not...pain...haiz..see how ba... steph @ 10/21/2006 01:49:00 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2006
the 7 sisters unite! thanks debbie and sini for the chocolates! no. 6, 1, 5! no. 3, 7, 2, 4! debbie and me! the food at ichiban was really good!! yummy!!! alot of varieties as well!!!very very very nice! charwanmushi is also good...smooth and silky and shaky! wobble wobble! =p...too bad they dun have buffet...do they? hee.. anyway...trying to smile smile n smile...=) steph @ 10/17/2006 03:52:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2006 I hate the haze...absoultely! ughhh...its 127 as of 3pm just now...visibility naturally dropped to a low...usually i have problems seeing clearly already, now with the haze, its making my sight worse also! cant stand it!! anyway, was thinking of gg jogging tonite..but the haze..ughh shall see how..dun wanna collapse halfway and dong dong qiang...hahaha..choy choy... anyway, bottom line is: i totally hate the haze...can i have back the clean air? the smell is making me wanna puke too..ughh...chao dar smell...haiz.. alrite...not in a good mood here...watever.. by the way..who wanna run in place of me n edwin for stan chart run?? we'll collect the race pack...its on 3rd dec...21k...let me know ya...tks tks...really searching for ppl to run!! steph @ 10/16/2006 03:43:00 PM Sunday, October 15, 2006 yeah feeling good desipte of a flu yet again...think i really got the FLU...have been sneezing since morning...and getting tired from all the sneezing too...imagine holding a tissue to your nose during prayers...also the sniffings thruout the sermon...whoa...irritating...just feel like cutting off the nose..just that it does not work that way...it'll only induce more liquid (this time blood) coming out from where the nose used to be, and u'll probably have to use a bandage instead of tissue...oh well..crappy again... anyway, i had a nice weekend though...spent my friday evning at chomp chomp for dinner as well as celebrate pink hulk's bday...a gd time with them, though not many turned up...and nice justin sent me all the way frm chomp chomp to edwin's place...so sweet of him!!! gRrrr...i felt bad lar coz its really a long way!!! and i had a pleasent surprise! sylvia was there! apparently she came back for her driving test which she passed! she'll be flying off..correction: she flew off already back to indo...haiz..missed her!!! anyway, the usual gang met up, minus cuimei, and ilona can make it too...so played MJ thru the nite...tok cok also, and as usual, we're all in a lame and crappy mood...initially we wanted to go to the zoo, but coz we're too tired in the mrn, so we settled for breakfast at canteen 2! and talked and talked...was tired and sleepy....-.-.... met the 7 sisters after that for a get-together! yeah! finally the 7 sisters unite!! realised that i missed them so much! sini and deb were taling about the people they met in mackinaw or smt...dunno how to spell...=p...and they got us chocolates! so sweet!!! i meant them not the chocolates..though i havent tasted mine yet though..hehe...and so we talked n talked again..or rather they talked n talked and we asked n asked..=p...and planned to take convo pics together! yeah! so fun!! i wan the photos!! and so, today's sermon was gd as well...kaleo, though not alot of ppl, was also gd...message was short but sweet and clear...at least to this sneezy and sleepy me lar...decided to go queensway to buy some stuff so didnt join them aft lunch...met edwin and bought a sportsbra and shorts...eying a pair of pants as well...but no size...=( ...have to ask the very kind and helpful boyfriend to do me a favor! hahhaa...=p well...also made some plans too! very excited!! looking forward!! to whoever out there...pls dun miss me so much okie...im sneezing n sneezing n snezzing already...tired...tml is another week! but this week shud be a slack week...ughhh no...i have a PPT this friday..which i'll probably fail lor...cartwheels...how to do!!! ughhh =( ok well...shall see how it goes ba...-.- have a blessed wk ppl! steph @ 10/15/2006 08:33:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2006 some photos!   we met to celebrate daph's 22 bday!  pinkies and the brian!  the 4 of us!  gimme my crabs!!! well..entirely for the sake of posing..coz theres garlic on the crabs!!!ughhh!! pheewww     __________________________________________________________ photos on MAF.. ghost!!! YH...tks for the sparkles...but look at the one im holding ...left hand..not gd one..maybe..expired?haha... taken after much effort...and with due consideration to wind direction... well there are still many spastic ones..but shant post them up...=p...image image... anyway...its friday! weekend!!! steph @ 10/13/2006 03:17:00 PM Saturday, October 07, 2006 well...mid autumn festival...had several clashes in my schedule planning etc...ughh... anyway, didnt really get to enjoy the moon...luckily i still caught the moon while i was at harbour front...it was ROUND! duh~...anyway after that, the moon retreated further n further...probably being chased by the haze...until...it got eaten up by the haze...and good bye moon...such an irony...that it was supposed to be a night where the moon is the roundest...yet it's beauty was veiled by the haze and clouds...more likely haze... yes..the haze is back again....irritating haze...was and am still affected by the haze...just as many out there are...had flu few days ago...didnt blame Mr lee(my colleague) even though i claimed that it was him who spread the flu bug...instead...it must be the haze! even till now, my nose is running...ironically again, the haze prevented me from jogging...(or was it just excuses on my part?) but anyway, the haze has made my nose run instead...so, can my nose run in place of me for stan chart run?hm...i wonder...haha...but den again, if i run, my nose will be with me. therefore it'll run together with me as well? hm..crappy now... well...i guess mid autumn festival didnt help improve the hazy condition..on the countary, thik it worsened it..with the burning of lanterns, candles and of coz sparkles, think it caused the PSI to shoot up even more last nite...not forgetting to mention im also guilty of releasing some smoke into the atmosphere..ended up playing with lanterns n candles and sparkles (courtesy of YH...the RED ones are lousy!! =p but mai hiam lar..no harrm)...felt like a kid once again, but yet felt old...contradicting feelings...haha...but im young! =p anyway, today is the bday of my 2 friends! friends of 10 years!! yupz..none other than zhanwei (who didnt reply me when i wished him happy bday!!! gRRr haha) and also daphne aka yuxin! really glad that we maintained our friendship for so long, and i can foresee that this friendship will continue on strong! yeah! as she mentioned, we've really been thru thick n thin...seen each other grow up, mentally n physically...haha...yupz..thankful for this friendship indeed... she's one friend whom i know i can turn to whenever i have problems! tks gal for being there always! =) so off we went, the usual group of us, minus aoz n yougi n gf steph, we headed to thai express...rather hot, especially to brandon, who had this 3 chili warning dish...anyway, photos were taken, silly pose and toothy grins! i love huiyi's camera!!! speaking of this dear gal, all the best in ur career ya! its not gonna be easy, but still, jiayou!!you can do it! enjoy ur work ya! =) (by the way, her camera is exlim or smt...really cool n nice...but i dun mind my dream camera ixus though..hahaha) after that, we went shopping for the belated presents of this 3 ladies..mik, sorry urs gonna take abit bit more time! =p...and jiayou too for ur fypee yar...=) and so im back home, trying to mark my papers, but instead i am blogging now...blogging with eyes almost shut...is it the weather or is it just coz im plain tired? hm...think both..more of the latter...anyway, also realized that im in a rather crappy mood...blogger's block removed...or stress upon tons n tons of markings yet to be completed...=( help...haiz... -.- im ok...=) seriously..i just need more time...more rest...and more motivation... steph @ 10/07/2006 08:32:00 PM Wednesday, October 04, 2006 well...so far, it's been good...teaching i mean...and others as well...there's not much teaching going on, since its exams period now for the students....gd ar! waiting for the papers to come in, and it'll be another hectic marking session...oh well..enjoying as i can!   life goes on..celebrating people's bday...mik and huiyi...daph's coming along this sat...guys! meet 1230pm at citylink!!! going thai express (durians there) ! anyway, i've also not been doing much...hm...oh...just went to church's retreat at changi yacht club...its gd! as in the place is really nice! sea view and everything! whoa..really nice...the peace and quiet time spent there was gd as well...and of coz, fellowshiping with each other, getting to know each other more as well... hm..it was also the 1st time im leading worship...whoa..scary...as in...i didnt prepare well ...initially thought 1 or 2 songs will suffice...but i came to realise that its not enough! panic...and to think i had spent quite some time selecting those initial 2 songs! haha..anyway, was alsp pretty nervous, but it all went well thank God..=p nice! which reminds me...i wanna pick up guitar again...hm...not only literally pick up my 'lao gong' (such a cliche name for my guitar...) but really spending time to practice...shall see how it goes ba...thinking also of getting an acostic one...hm...shall c how .... next up, PPT..which i havent train!! ughhh...sucks...hate it manz!! ughhh... anywayz...yupz...planning my holidays...confirmed trip to krabi! yeah...aus trip still pending..hm...maybe it'll be, or maybe it wun be..or maybe it'll be another...oh well...haha...=p  YH taking "mimi" frm mi...(not referring to mik pls!!) steph @ 10/04/2006 03:54:00 PM
