well..as usual the star is really a star..made us wait for quite a long time...hmz.think he made his appearance at abt 730 plus?when the show's supposed to start at 7. hmz..is this the norm?shud be ba..so shud we conform to the norm because simply it just is this way or shud we say hey hey stars u cant make ur fans wait...but den again for these events, the preparation have to be very steady n gd..so there may be alot of last minute those "due to unforseen circumstances" technical glitches so the stars have no choice but to let us wait...which is well..reasonable...

so next time im late meeting people, well...due to unforseen circumstances lar hor..hahaha...coz im a star mar! stephie star...ok...lame again....

(*the below is highly subjective and is based on the writer's own thoughts. please read the disclaimer below.*)

anywayz..something strucked me again...1st impressions...well...usually 1st impressions last for a long time..even after you know the person already...people tend to say..hey dun judge by 1st impressions, but sub-consciously they'll succumb to judging to their initial impression of the person. or also, maybe not the 1st impression, but the certain characteristics the person tend to protray.

hmz...how should i put it...ok..how about say...a person who is wearing singlet n shorts to school almost every day. people will tend to PERCEIVE the person as a slacker, dunno how to be presentable, loud, no-manners, always insensitive to other people, always late etc etc..this is called stereotyping lar...(learnt in my social psyc! =p ). ok..den due to the stereotyping, whatever the actions the person did which corresponded to the traits of the stereotype, people will immediately notice and they'll attribute it to the person's internal deposition, ie, he's always borrowing things from people for example. nevermind that the person really seldom borrow things from others..it was just a once-off thing coz he forgot to bring tt watever thing he borrowed. just becuase he's stereotyped as that, he's judged by that too, even though he wasnt like tt...ermz...clear still?so sometimes, before you judge people, think...of the 3 qns, is that person always doing that action in this particular situation? will the person do that action in other situations? are others doing the same action if put into the same situation? think through before you judge and form your own attitude towards the person and his actions...

people judge things/other people based on alot of reasons. a friend once said, " please do not judge something unless you personally been there done that and tasted the gd/bad of the thing/person. do not have a verdict based on what others say, what u heard others say.

we tend to take things for granted.no matter with who there's a certain level of taking things for granted-ness in us. but there's a threshold also. usually people tend to take their close friends and family for granted. i admit im one of those. i take my family for granted. my mother, sister and even my brother also. i used to take a close friend of mine for granted.too much i supposed, til things were not the same as they used to be. now, before you judge again, think carefully.. u take ppl for granted, people also take you for granted. where is the fine line between helping and taking people for granted?got any limits?yes. but wat limits?i'd say, its up to individuals. some people might not mind helping you, accompanying you when you are down, leanding you a listening ear. too much of gd things are bad. so too much of these means taking for granted?well...there's another term i'd want to introduce. Reciprocracity . give and take. well..so does it means that if you always take n take n dont give it means that you are taking things or people for granted? maybe so..makes sense...so when you are thinking and judging another person of taking things for granted, please also think about yourself. do you also do the same thing too?maybe not to the same person but to others?

it is only though others that you learn more of yourself. means alot. please go think about it. i lazy to go into it...=P self-explainatary rite..??haha...

i think i've changed quite alot these few months. i no longer take things for granted. through close contact with friend, friends who are so willing to help so willing to give and not take, that i realised the importance of reciprocracity. you wonder how come some people are just so willing to give so much, without asking for anything in return. altruism? is there really altruism? controversal topic again. dun wish to go into it now. through observations of people, of friends, you can learn alot of things about yourself and others. reflect on your own doings. when you are wrong, admit it and move on. it is only when u know where you go wrong and not worry at what a fool you'd seem to others for making mistakes that you'll be able to realise your mistakes and thus maybe change for the better. "blame it on the ego" , " wow he's got such a big ego"... hold back tt mr Ego and reflect on what went wrong. often its the size of the ego which prevents you from admiting your worngs, be it just a small wrong. so please, again, when people point out your flaws, be it tactlessly or tactfully, do not be angry at the person for pointing out your flaws. instead, think of why did he point out that mistake. is it really a mistake?has to be a mistake mar since he pointed it out...but then, before you brush it off or rebuke the person, please do something abt the mistake you made. or the flaw that you have. afterall its to your best intentions that others point out your mistake. if you don't learn from these, then probably you don't and won't learn anything..

life's a learning process. Im still learning.i won't change myself to suit others. but i will change for the better. how about you?

well...disclaimer time!
