A sudden phone call...a sombre conversation...a day set to meet up for further discussion...a girl worried...met up finally with the few and spent some time catching up with them on gossips while waiting.

And so finally, the 'discussion' took place at his house. Suspecting nothing at all, she was surprised by the ice-cream brought in, that was followed by a brownie cake with 7 brightly lit candles. She joined in singing the birthday song, not realizing that it was actually meant for her! And hence, when realization sets in, she was really touched...it was so unexpected...no wish was made, only heartfelt thanksgiving. (Or is it as according to one, her wish had already come true? =P )

The candles were relit, this time for him whose birthday was also in July. He was stunned for a moment, as this wasn't in the plan and he knew nothing about this part. So he blew out the candles...any wish made? (Or is it as according to the same one again, his wish had already come true? =P )

For the 3rd time, the candles were relit. The 'happy birthday' sign was replaced by a heart shaped photo of him and her. This time, they had both of them blow out the candles, and cut the brownie cake together. A celebration of them getting together..

To her, this isn't just a surprise. This isn't just a belated celebration. This means a lot to her. She realized once again, how important her friends are in her life, and she is ever so thankful for them.

A blessed girl...feeling very blissful...the friends whom she is thankful for...a necklace that means a lot to her...the man who she'll cherish...another phase of life she's looking forward to.

She will bear this in mind, and will strive towards it. =)
