ana ana, we're flying ANA! after a long 6 hour flight, we finally hit tokyo! and transit there to hokkaido! by the time we reach hokkaido, it was dinner time. a chinese dinner there at the hotel and we rest for the night there, after a visit to the 7-11 there! cool!!! __________________________________ Day 2 in the morning, it started snowing! i was showering (yupz the hotel rooms are warm and cozy! not cold at all..!) and it started snowing!!!so excited!!!! nippon! look at the view outside! snow!! it's snowing!!! we're in the snow! visit to the ice-cream and butter factory and they gave us ice-cream!... and milk... mOooOoo..check out the date! hehee and then, we headed to this place for shopping...the tower is the landmark...by then it's like...-2 degrees or smt...edwin and i didnt really shopped...we walked around the streets and took in the beautiful scenery and also took pictures! and, it started snowing again!!!! -2 degrees... the subway... at the crossroads... see the chirstmas trees!!!! it's snow! man-made falling snow... and so after lunch we proceeded to the Ishiya chocolate factory! this factory makes 白色恋人 , a biscuit which is only in japan, and not imported elsewhere....nice!!! don't they look like elves working in a kitchen? haha... catch us on screen! the view outside their cafe... the chocolate factory... 白色恋人 don't lie okay...else...it'll be so long!! like his! cute isnt it! hehehe and after that, we headed to the snow mountains! what is edwin doing? ice kachang names! lying in the bed of snow! we didnt ride the snow mobile...hee..his brother did...we played in the snow!! frozen lake... can you see the snow!!! and of course, how can we forget, Mr Snowman!! it's not easy to make a snowman okay..haha...edwin and his cousin did most of the job! =p .... nightfall...and snowfall.... walking around in the shops....and we saw this! hehe...it was really a super cold nite!!! tour guide told us that it's coz it's gonna snow soon..and true enough, it snowed heavily thru the night... the vending machine! beneath the clock tower... busy street and after that, we went back to this restaurant where we had our lunch for a hokkaido hot pot dinner...ermz..i think it's hot pot...we laid the vegetables into the pot, and then grilled the meat on them! nice!!! the lamb chop, beef slices, chicken and pork...yummy!!! but the smell stinks though...=p look at the MEAT! and the dao geh... pity the picture is blurred though... night life... ________________________ Day 3! we headed to the romantic town of Otaru! there's the music box and also the glass museum. it started snowing again! it's this quint little town which is so beautiful!!! music box... frozen in the snow.... bear-bitten we went to this shop which sells bbq shells...and seafood...so we ordered some sheels to try...ahaha...nice! big har.. this is considered small compared to what we ate! hehe under the small umbrella 6-flavoured icecream!nice!!! see the snow?wow!cold!!!!icecream don't melt!!! the canal! the crabby meal!!! mao mao crab!!!! hairy!!!! eating it RAW! and the sashimi!!! and then we reached hotel...were supposed to wear the yukata to dinner! so nice!!!kawaii neh! haha...we played around in the yukata, making a stupid video...=p and dinner for that night was the monk's meal! very sumptuous!! in our tatami room in our yutaka! cha dao... drink tea also look so fierce...-.- Euu xiu...gracefully taking out the tatami... chor lor...=p the jap men... the jap couple monk's meal! manz..look at the food!!! and it was this night where had our hot spring! hehe...cant take photos lar obviously... ______________________________________________________________________ Day 4 the morning was indeed cold...we're in this valley in between the big snow mountains...and the wind can get in, but cant get out...so it's blowing everywhere...real cold!!! check out the frozen waterfall behind us! nice har! we also visited the sulfur mountain....see the smoke from the sulfur? sulfur mountain! at this rest stop...pity we lost the yakult bottle... we went to this prison place or smt...the lake is really marvelous!!! look at the scenery!!almost perfect....like a postcard! prison break... i love this picture!!! we went to Lake Tofutsu where we saw many many swans!!! porr porrr haha...fed them..and the cheeky seagulls too!! so cute!!! and we travelled on the bus to hit our hotel.it gets dark there at around 4 plus...we had to climb over one or two mountain to reach to the hotel...and look at the sunset...surreal! at the hotel, we had our dinner...den we went to watch this Ainu Villagers to perform some Ainu dance...ermz..not really nice lar..but well, its their culture...they dance with their heads and hair one also leh..don't pray pray...den we went for another hot spring bath! cool!! hehe... soaring like an eagle! __________________________________________________________________ Day 5 outside the hotel... after breakfast, we went to see more swans! mummm mummmm we headed to see the cranes...jap red-crested crane...and the weird obasan who lives there...didn see the cranes closed up though...too far away! lunch was grilled bbq thingy...the meat is damn nice!! hahaha...check out the food!!! we also went to this place...very nice view from the top!!! super nice manz!!! cant describe... nice isnt it!!! aWwww... we went to this shopping centre to do some shopping...grocery etc...and aso went to this fisherman's Wharf MOO...ntn much...didnt shop much...=p last night in Hokkaido...=( the view outside our hotel... _____________________________________________________________ Day 6 we headed for the airport for our flight to toyko....last chance to take photos with the snow...it's not snowing in toyko....miss the snow already!!! last few shots with snow... snow-covered when we're at toyko, we went to this place called Ginza to shop...a rather high-end place....busy toyko....the people there were all dressed up till very nice!!! fashionable even though it's in winter...cool manz!!! we walked around in the streets..3.20pm now has another meaning for us...haha...nice! tokyo street boy tokyo girl! look at their pavements...flowers!!! after shopping, we went to this temple...Asakusa Temple...took some photos...saw a bunch of japanese girls in their kimonos..or is it yukatas? anyway, we took photos with them! kawaii!! after that we went to Narita shopping centre for another shopping...didnt spend much time there...also nothing to buy anyway...=p....dinner was another buffet at the hotel...full!! celebrated edwin's brother's birthday there too in the hotel...haha..happy birthday! Garden Hotel Narita...nice isnt iti lunch! opp our hotel... ____________________________________________________________ Day 7 and then it was the sad departure...we had to leave this beautiful land....had our last breakfast there and we checked in to the airport there...aWww...another 6 hour flight...missing japan dearly....=( (photos to be up later) _____________________________________ my buys...not alot though...haha...the bottles are empty... one thing i like most about their toilets is their toilet seat!!! it has warm toilet seat cover, so that your ass don't get frozen while you do your business, and on top of that, it can wash your butt too!! with warm water! how cool is that!!!and pretty clean job too! hehehe... steph @ 12/14/2006 12:44:00 PM
